On the 29th of April in President Hotel an international conference "Climate as policy" took place
In this conference participated Sergey Mironov - the Chairman of the Council of Federation, "Fair Russia" party leader, President of the "Fair World" Institute, Nikolay Levichev - floor leader of "Fair Russia" in the State Duma, Luis Ayala - General Secretary of Socintern, ambassadors of foreign countries, Russian and international experts, leaders of ecological non-commercial enterprises.
The Section of International cooperation of regions was represented by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Section S.A. Bashkov. On the conference was represented an investment project "Increase of energy preparedness and ecological efficiency of the Russian Federation economy with the use of incentive mechanism of energy saving and anthropogen emission reduction in the normal course of business and consumption", which won the third place in Russian Best Investment Project competition.

The results of the first All-Russia Best Investment Project competition have been announced.
The final meeting of the competition committee of the All-Russian Best Investment Project competition has taken place in the Federation Council under the chairmanship of the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council and also deputy chairman of the Senator Club Council A.P. Troshin. The competition committee included representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Federation Council, State Duma, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Economical Development, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Press Agency “Interfax”, Russian Press Agency “Novosti”, the Senatorial Club and non-governmental organizations. 400 investment projects from 58 regions of Russia have been presented to the competition committee. 302 of them have been admitted. A closed ballot, held during a competition committee meeting, has determined the winners. Members of the committee missing at the meeting voted remotely. The majority of votes determined the three winners:

1st place
Complex investment project “International Seaport “PECHENGA”

Investment project “Multimodal industrial complex”

2nd Russian national Best Investment Project Competition
The Section of International cooperation of regions announces the opening of the 2nd Russian national Best Investment Project Competition. The Competition will start on April,1 2010 and will end on April,1 2011. Kamchatka Investment potential presentation to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation was held on March 26.
On March 26 there was a presentation of Kamchatka Investment Potential to the chamber of commerce and industry of the Russian Federation.

At the presentation were announced top-priority fields for investments such as: fishing industry, mining industry, travel industry and infrastructure development.

Forum “Investments to the Russian regions industrial parks” in Moscow.
Under the auspices of the Presidential Administration and the Section of the International cooperation of regions will be held an International investment forum "Industrial parks in Russia-2010" in the halls of the President Hotel, Moscow, from the 22nd to the 23rd of April 2010.

Creation of the common database of investment passports of regions and territorial units of the Russian Federation
The Section of International cooperation of regions of the Senatorial Club on the basis of its website smsr-senclub.ru creates a common database of investment passports of regions and territorial units of the Russian Federation. This database will allow to concentrate information about investment opportunities  of each territorial unit of Russia, present the potential investors full and adequate information about more than 20 thousand territorial units of the Russian Federation.
The Administrations, who have placed its investment passports of the portal of the Section can reckon on both domestic and foreign investors.

Placement of investment passports is free of charge. Each investment passport will be placed in two sections - in common database and  on the pages of appropriate regions. The specialists of the Section prepared methodical material of investment passport creation, which will be placed in the section Investment passports of Russia
